The NLSC is closely monitoring the current situation in Japan after the recent earthquake and tsunami disaster, and is ready to provide assistance at the request of a federal agency.
The NLSC has received an inquiry from a federal agency for a Japanese speaker with a background in mental health. If you are a mental health professional with Japanese language skills, we would like to hear from you as soon as possible. Please email us, specifying your availability and related mental health experience. Alternatively, if you know someone who meets these language and professional criteria and would like to recommend him or her to the NLSC, please let us know immediately.
Membership in the NLSC is required; there are no fees to join.
Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. As always, we appreciate your interest.
For more information on the NLSC or to apply to join on-line, visit http://www.nlscorps.org/.
